We are seeking an IT Field Service Engineer for a national retail trade group. Your main duties will include installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of core IT equipment, including networking, at various Profit Centres, Service Centres, and Credit Offices to ensure seamless trading operations.
This role is field-based and involves providing support, advice, and assistance to internal customers. You will visit remote locations according to a schedule and complete reports for each visit. Additionally, you will participate in resolving service desk tickets as assigned by the Service Desk manager.
Key qualifications include:
* Experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications
* Fundamental networking skills
* Experience with printers and print management
* Knowledge of payment service and PDQ installation
* Mobile phone setup and management skills
* High-level technical skills related to printing, terminals, and laptops
* Basic understanding of all key infrastructure components
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle
