We are recruiting an Operational Technology (OT) Delivery Manager to coordinate the development of the IoT platform and manage the reporting to operations and the management for key initiatives like SLM (Sewerage Level Monitoring), EDM (Event Duration Monitoring)
The OT Delivery Manager will be responsible for the team operating, developing, and maintaining ThingWorx platforms and the products that they support for example, SLM, EDM and Asset Tracking. You will also collaborate with senior business and IT stakeholders including Solution Architects, and service delivery and project delivery counterparts, to ensure that new and existing applications are supported & projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Responsibilities to include:
1. Provide strong and effective management for the Operational Technology team including recruitment, development, performance management and wellbeing.
2. Manage change in a way that enables team members to embrace and move forward with the changing landscape in a positive and effective way.
3. Ensure that the OT platforms are suitably maintained so that they provide a reliable, high availability, high-quality service to the business.
4. Operate as the Product Owner for ThingWorx driving the improvement and updates and ensuring successful delivery through a Scrum environment.
5. Ensure that product application software development and functionality meet the needs of the business and OT system operability requirements.
6. Coordinate the work of an Agile team with suppliers and contractors during the development, testing and implementation of new or upgraded business solutions.
7. Facilitate productive relationships with and between key stakeholders, during Planning, implementation, and operation of OT services.
8. Ensure that project and business application support documentation is maintained.
9. Identify platform and project related risks and escalate project issues in a timely manner.
Your responsibilities will have the following split:
Manage OT team including recruitment, development, performance management and wellbeing 30%
Business, Project, and IT stakeholder management 15%
IoT Platform and technology development 20%
Incident and Problem Management 15%
Day-to-day task management and BAU activities 10%
Knowledge and skills needed:
10. Demonstrable experience managing OT teams and OT Platforms.
11. Adept at managing senior stakeholders in complex high-pressure environments.
12. Proven experience in managing large scale rollouts.
13. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
14. Motivating and developing a technical team.
15. Management of projects and contractors.
16. Strong analysis and reporting skills.
17. Experience of working in an Agile Environment
Effective in managing change
18. Detailed experience in managing event, incident and problem management in complex environments.
19. Advanced Excel User
20. Industrial automation & communications troubleshooting and testing
21. Smart metering device rollout and management
22. RTU (remote terminal unit) and telemetry outstations communications
23. An understanding of Cybersecurity for OT systems and Cybersecurity Risk Assessments
