Service Controller

As a Service Controller, you will: Understand & Respond:
Assess and prioritize customer requests, ensuring timely actions are taken. Resource Allocation:
Allocate the right resources to meet customer needs efficiently. Job Planning:
Maximize engineer productivity by planning all jobs effectively. Job Management:
Oversee job progress, ensuring resolution benefits both Finning and our customers. Accurate Work Orders:
Open and close work orders to maximize billing accuracy. Safety Focus:
Identify opportunities for safety reworks while addressing repairs. Team Leadership:
Mentor and manage a team of 4-8 engineers, fostering high levels of customer satisfaction. Process Adherence:
Ensure compliance with service processes for extraordinary customer service delivery. What We’re Looking For

Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office. Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Desirable Knowledge
While not mandatory, the following will give you an edge: Advanced engineering aptitude Gas & Diesel Engine product knowledge Familiarity with mobile and fixed equipment components Experience with systems like DBSi Work Order, SAP, and Cat SIS Education & Experience
We require: A foundational understanding of engineering principles A minimum of 3 years in a technical or mechanical engineering role Previous experience in a similar role within the industry is desirable Working Conditions
This is an office-based position with flexible working hours between
7 AM – 6 PM
on weekdays, and potential Saturday shifts as needed. You will manage approximately
100 work orders
