Location: Kyleakin, Isle of Skye Position: Stock Controller Contract Type: Temporary Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience Accommodation: Can be provided if required Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accuracy and availability Placing orders with suppliers, tracking shipments and ensuring the timely receipt of goods Receive, inspect and record deliveries Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies Coordinate with purchasing and production teams Maintain accurate records using inventory management systems Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, movements and any relevant paperwork. Implementing and adhering to health and safety procedures, standards and environmental legislation. Ensure storage areas are organised and comply with health and safety standards Working with other departments, such as sales and warehouse to ensure smooth operations. Identifying and resolving issues related to stock and communicating them effectively.
