This is a new position to the business due to expansion plans, investment and an internal promotion and will have a continuous succession plan towards Maintenance Manager then on to possible Engineering Manager.

Your New Role as a Maintenance Team Lead;
1. Lead and inspire the Engineering team by providing clear guidance, training, and performance management to ensure targets and KPI's are met, while offering mentorship as needed.
2. Conduct regular machinery and equipment inspections to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
3. Effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to collaborative forums.
4. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures aligned with production management to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime, ensuring optimal machinery efficiency.
5. Support factory expansion projects, including planning and executing machinery and equipment installations.
6. Oversee the Maintenance department's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.
What You Need to Succeed as a Maintenance Team Lead;
7. A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the food or beverage sector.
8. Strong expertise in industrial machinery, mechanical and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
9. Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and foster collaboration.
