Position Overview: We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer / IT Service Desk Analyst with solid experience in root cause analysis, data centre architecture, network and application management protocols, network administration, troubleshooting, Windows Server OS, SQL, IIS, and Exchange Server. This role is based in Worthing, West Sussex, with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 per annum + Benefits.
Responsibilities:
* Manage support cases and troubleshoot customer environments.
* Host remote support sessions and maintain customer contact.
* Document bugs, procedures, and share information with sales.
* Guide junior team members and recommend process improvements.
* Follow security policies and assist in testing patches and updates.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential Experience:
* Root cause analysis, data centre architecture, network protocols, Windows Server OS, SQL, IIS, Exchange.
* Documentation, customer relationship management, communication, organizational skills.
* Ability to learn complex topics, flexibility, and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
* Monitoring tools, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, AWS, SQL querying, cloud services, Active Directory, certifications, scripting, Linux administration, security standards, backup solutions.
