Overview
As Fundraising Officer - Trusts & Foundations, you will play a key role in the Trust and Foundation function of the Trust and Foundations and Philanthropy team to deliver ambitious annual income targets through winning new partnerships, excellent stewardship and reporting. You will have a good understanding of trust and foundation fundraising, partnership management, development and stewardship and have a passion for the Teach First mission. You will play a key role in maintaining, growing and retaining our mid value trust and foundations partnerships to support our mission.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage relationships with trust and foundation funders to support Teach First’s mission.
* Deliver stewardship activities, report on progress, and contribute to income targets through new partnerships and renewals.
* Collaborate with the broader fundraising team to ensure joined-up stewardship and donor engagement across accounts and projects.
Qualifications
* Do you have at least 1 year's experience working with Trusts & Foundations?
* Do you have strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal communication) with a focus on building rapport and trust with Trusts and Foundations contacts, as well as the ability to tailor messages to different audiences?
* Can you accurately manage donor records, track income, and deliver stewardship activities, multiple tasks and deadlines across different accounts and projects?
* Do you work well with colleagues across fundraising to deliver joined-up stewardship?
* Are you comfortable using CRM systems, email marketing tools, and basic data analysis to inform engagement strategies?
* Can you take ownership of tasks, suggest improvements, and resolve issues independently when needed, whilst ensuring all work complies with data protection policies and legal requirements including the Fundraising Code of Practice?
