Overview
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as part of a team who will provide a support service to Home Carers working to support vulnerable people living in the community Council wide. This includes scheduling and allocation of work. There is a requirement to use IT, and you should have an interest and understanding of IT programmes.
Posts: Permanent + Fixed Term available
Hours: 26.25 hours per week
Salary: £21,802 - £22,090
Location: Cambuslang Gate
Shift Pattern
In accordance with a rotational roster, you will work over a four-week shift pattern which consists of two weeks day shift and two weeks back shifts. Day shift is 6.30 am until 3.30 pm (during weekdays - 7 am until 4 pm office based) Back shift is 3 pm until 11 pm. When not in the office you will work from home.
* Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Dayshift)
* Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday (Dayshift)
* Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Backshift)
* Week 4 - Wednesday, Thursday (Backshift)
Responsibilities
Provide scheduling and allocation of work to Home Carers; support service delivery to vulnerable people in the community; use IT systems effectively; engage with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and coordination.
Requirements
Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the Organisation. Additional increments for working unsocial hours may apply. Training including induction and ongoing learning and development will be provided by South Lanarkshire Council. Interviews will be held face to face. You should be caring, patient, compassionate and adaptable, and respectful of the rights of others.

Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in scheduling or coordinating work in a care setting is desirable
* IT literacy with familiarity of IT programmes; ability to use standard computer applications
* Ability to manage changing priorities and respond to telephone inquiries appropriately
Additional Information
