About the Opportunity
Due to internal promotion we have a vacancy in the position of Apprenticeship Lead, within our Birchwood or Knutsford offices.
Scope of responsibilities
1. Produce, maintain and improve resources (such as guidance manuals and support tools) for the Apprenticeship programmes, to manage expectations for Apprentices, their line managers and other supporting stakeholders, liaising and confirming with these stakeholders their responsibilities (including safeguarding requirements)
2. In partnership with SMEs for appropriate disciplines, provide a selection of providers, with recommendation of appropriate courses of study and completion of all associated contractual work
3. Prepare and deliver content for graduate events, communications, careers fairs
4. Lead the planning and organisation of welcome, award and celebration events for all EC members throughout the year for the various cohorts, attending and hosting as a programme custodian
5. Ensure engagement of each cohort enhancing their employee experience and gather and respond to cohort feedback
6. Engage with DfE, ESFA, IfATE, DWP, and access appropriate funding streams in devolved nations.
7. Operate the digital levy account Create a network of Apprentice champions to support individuals across the office/site locations
8. Provide pastoral care and partner with Line Managers and HR to resolve any issues where additional support may be required
9. Partner with TA, HR, Line Managers and local office leads to ensure appropriate onboarding activities are provided and completed effectively (eg induction, office tours, orientation etc)
10. Partner with external stakeholders (eg Local authorities etc) to lever devolved funding opportunities and benefits eg training, levy monies for the programmes
11. Collate and track progress of Apprentice cohorts through the programme, collecting and maintaining relevant data to enable accurate reporting and make interventions with line managers as needed
12. Lead on bi-annual compensation reviews for Apprentices and track programme completion data to support fair promotions and transitions off the programme

21. Previous experience of running an EC programme, particularly Apprenticeships and T-Levels
