What You’ll Do
* Own the Docs: Lead our public documentation (docs.stackguardian.io) — ensuring clarity, structure, and usability across all developer and enterprise content.
* Create Developer-Focused Content: Write guides, tutorials, release notes, whitepapers, and onboarding sequences etc.
* Engage the Community: Collaborate with developers via Slack, respond to feedback, and build engagement through blogs, videos, and newsletters.
* Champion DevRel: Represent StackGuardian in our developer ecosystem — sharing updates, use cases, and educational resources.
* Set Standards: Maintain consistent tone, style, and structure across all content — from docs and SDKs to emails and media.
* Enhance Developer Experience: Collect feedback, monitor analytics, and continuously refine documentation and onboarding flows.
Who We’re Looking For
* Experience: 3+ years as a Technical Writer, Documentation Engineer, or Developer Advocate, ideally in Cloud, DevOps, or SaaS environments.
* Technical Acumen: Comfortable working with tools and frameworks such as Markdown, MDX, GitHub, Docusaurus, or Hugo. Able to read and explain code snippets in Go, Python, and Terraform.
* Content Versatility: Skilled at creating a wide range of developer content — from docs, blogs, and whitepapers to videos, newsletters, and release notes.
* Community Mindset: Engages naturally with developers through Slack, GitHub discussions, and feedback loops. Values storytelling, education, and authentic developer connection.
* Clarity in Complexity: Proven ability to translate dense technical concepts (IaC, CI/CD, API orchestration, security policies) into clear, developer-friendly explanations.
* AI & Automation Awareness: Understanding of AI-driven documentation tooling or LLM-assisted developer workflows.
