A leading consultancy is seeking a confident and proactive Business Services Administrator to join their busy, friendly team. Salary: up to £33,000
Potential for Hybrid working after 6 months training
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support across one of the largest teams in the business, supporting key projects, managing spreadsheets, assisting with finance and invoicing, and ensuring compliance with internal processes.
2. Assist in preparing and editing professional documents and PowerPoint presentations in line with brand guidelines.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team to support social media and promotional activities.
4. Support work-winning efforts including bids, CVs, and project documentation.
5. Utilise Power BI for reporting and data visualisation as required.
6. Create and manage surveys and forms using Microsoft Forms, and assist in gathering and analysing responses.
7. Explore and apply digital tools such as Microsoft Co-pilot for meeting minutes.
8. Manage team diaries, organise meetings, room bookings, refreshments, and coordinate AV requirements.
9. Assist with recruitment processes, interview scheduling, and GDPR compliance.
10. Take minutes in meetings, track actions, and follow up as needed.
11. Support onboarding for new starters and coordinate staff events and wellbeing activities.
12. Promote health and safety practices and undertake roles like fire marshal or first aider if required.
13. Provide flexible support to other teams across the business as needed.
About You:
1. Experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a professional or consultancy environment.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, MS Forms, Co-pilot, and SharePoint is advantageous.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Well-organised, able to manage time effectively and work independently.
5. A positive, team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
6. Ideally, holds a Level 4 NVQ or similar admin qualification (not essential).
7. Keen to develop new skills and improve processes.
