Job Summary
RecQuest is working on behalf of a respected and forward‑thinking law firm seeking to expand its Wills, Probate & Trusts (WPT) department. They are looking for a WPT Lawyer to join their team across their Petersfield Offices.The firm is searching for a motivated individual with 2+ years PQE, experienced in wills, probate, and trusts work, who can confidently manage their own caseload and deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drafting Wills and related estate planning documents.
• Advising on and preparing Trusts, including ongoing trust administration.
• Managing Probate applications and administering estates from start to finish.
• Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).
• Providing clear, professional advice to clients on a wide range of WPT matters.
• Working collaboratively within a busy and growing department across both offices.

What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years PQE in Wills, Probate & Trusts
• Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently while maintaining high levels of client care
• Commitment to the firm’s values and a collaborative team approach
• Preferably STEP‑qualified, or willing to undertake STEP training (fully supported by the firm)
• Professional, organised, and client‑focused
