Overview
Great opportunity to work as a Food Production Operative for a global food manufacturer. The site based in Spalding specializes in making Deli sandwich wraps, a variety of ready-to-salad products, sauces, dips, and lastly a producer of soups.
The rate of pay is £12.72 per hour. This is a full-time role working day shift following a continental shift pattern.
The hours of work are:
* 6:30am to 6pm
* Week 1 Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
* Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
As this is Temporary to permanent position you need to pass ESOL Test on site. You should be local to Spalding or have your own transport.
Your Time at Work
The responsibilities of a Food Production Operative include, but are not limited to:
* Preparing ready to eat sandwich wraps and other deli salad products
* Packing finished food products
* Weighing raw ingredients
* General hygiene and housekeeping
* Quality control inspection of ingredients
* Working on a moving production line
* Standing up for the duration of the working shift on the shop floor
* Moving portable bins containing raw food materials
* Hand and eye coordination whilst working on a production line assembling together ingredients to make up a finished edible product
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Food Production Operative will have excellent English communication skills, show good attention to detail and be able to follow hygiene rules at all times. You will be happy to work on a moving production line as well as a cold environment and working within a large team.
Candidates will be required to pass an ESOL test on site. No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
