We are pleased to be partnering with a well-established organisation within the food manufacturing industry to recruit an Assistant Accountant for their site within Sleaford. This role sits within a busy site based finance team, supporting the Site Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts
* Take ownership of sections of the P&L, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
* Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
* Report on key performance indicators and operational metrics
* Assist with capital expenditure processes and fixed asset register updates
* Analyse weekly costs, usage, and pricing, providing insights to support operational decision-making
* Support overhead reporting and cost control
* Work closely with the wider finance team and provide cover where required
* Contribute to process improvements and complete ad hoc analysis

What We're Looking For
* Part-qualified (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience
* Experience supporting management accounts
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills
