Full time Business Development & Operations Manager – Private Dental Practice | Widnes | £45K+ benefits (Negotiable for the Right Person)
Are you an experienced leader with a background in private dentistry or healthcare management? Do you love taking ownership, making things run smoothly, and driving a business forward? If you are looking for a role where you can truly make an impact, this could be the perfect next step.
We're a thriving 6-surgery private dental practice in Widnes, running a membership-only model with guest access for specialist treatments like facial aesthetics, implants, and consultant-led orthodontics and emergencies. Having successfully moved away from NHS dentistry, we're now ready for the next stage of growth—and we need a Business Development & Operations Manager to help make that happen.
What's In It for You?
A salary of £45K+ (negotiable for the right person) plus benefits
A full-time role with occasional work-from-home flexibility once established
A supportive and kind Principal Dentist who trusts their team and doesn't micromanage
An engaged, hardworking team that's ready for strong leadership
A practice that's grown and evolved—now it needs someone to take the reins and steer it forward
Who We're Looking For
This isn't just about keeping the practice ticking over—we need someone who understands the business side of private healthcare and can think strategically while keeping everything running smoothly day to day.
You have managed a private dental practice or a group - or a similar regulated healthcare business at a senior level
You are commercially minded and know how to improve profitability, streamline operations, and grow a business
You are confident leading a team, setting expectations, and making sure everyone is pulling in the same direction
You are great with numbers—you know your way around a P&L and can spot opportunities for growth
You are tech-savvy and always looking for ways to make systems more efficient
What You Will Be Doing
* Keeping the business in great financial health – overseeing budgets, analysing KPIs, and making sure we're hitting targets
* Leading the team – creating a positive, productive environment and ensuring everyone is clear on their roles and responsibilities
* Driving patient growth – making sure enquiries are handled properly, patient journeys are seamless, and marketing strategies are working
* Keeping things running smoothly – implementing systems that make the day-to-day operations as efficient as possible
* Ensuring top-notch patient care – making sure every patient has a brilliant experience, from their first call to their final treatment
The Culture at Deacon Dental
We are not corporate, and we don't do stuffy management styles. Our brand personality is warm, caring, and professional, and we want someone who fits that culture. You will be given the trust and autonomy to do what you do best, but you also need to be comfortable making decisions, having the tricky conversations when needed, and taking full ownership of the business side of things.
