New Directions Education is currently recruiting a bank of Level 1 Teaching Assistants to work in schools across the Oswestry, Shropshire borough.
The work is available to start immediately, with varied and flexible shifts. We offer full or part-time hours, term-time only, between 08:50 am – 3:30 pm.
You can specify the areas of Oswestry you can travel to, your preferred hours, and the age groups you are comfortable working with.
Experience as a Level 1 Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential. We welcome Trainee Teaching Assistants with experience working with children, coaching, or in the care sector. Support and training are provided.
Teaching and classroom assistants are vital resources for schools and are heavily relied upon.
Qualifications we recruit:
* NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
* NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
* Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
* CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
* BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing)
We also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have worked in primary or secondary schools without the above qualifications.
