Robert Half is partnering with a global organisation that is looking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their accounting experience within a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
The role will involve supporting the preparation of financial statements, managing month-end activities, and contributing to accurate, high-quality financial reporting. You'll also gain exposure to areas such as gross profit allocation across different segments and markets, while taking on broader accounting responsibilities that keep the role varied and interesting.

Key Responsibilities
1. Take ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
2. Prepare and post journals for multiple entities with the right supporting documentation.
3. Ensure accurate allocation methodologies for reporting, including gross profit attribution.
4. Operate within a strong internal controls environment and recommend process improvements.
5. Perform reconciliations and variance analysis on a monthly basis.
6. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
7. Partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
8. Provide insights to management to support audits and decision-making.
9. Support both internal and external audit requirements.
10. Take part in cross-training and assist with ad-hoc financial analysis.
Candidate Profile
11. Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
12. Ideally holding or working towards a professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
13. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards.
14. Proficiency with accounting systems (Oracle preferred) and strong Excel skills.
15. Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
16. Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
17. Confident working independently as well as part of a team.
