This is a key role for someone passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable individuals while driving sustainable business growth. You’ll play a pivotal part in expanding the crisis care provision, developing strategic partnerships and securing new service contracts with commissioners, local authorities, NHS bodies and private sector partners. With strong autonomy and genuine influence, this role offers the chance to help shape our future strategy and contribute to essential frontline services. Key Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within crisis care and related support services. Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, NHS partners and private clients. Lead on tender submissions, bid writing and proposal development. Develop and implement strategic growth plans aligned with organisational objectives. Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure smooth mobilisation and delivery of new services. Represent the organisation at meetings, events, and industry networking opportunities. Monitor market trends, policy changes, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth. Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, performance, and revenue targets. The Candidate Proven experience in Business Development, ideally within crisis care, mental health, social care, or healthcare services. Demonstrable track record of securing contracts and driving revenue growth. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot and develop opportunities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and confident working independently.
