We're looking for a dedicated Procurement Professional to join our team in Glascoed. This 12-month contract is an excellent opportunity for someone with procurement experience who wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. You'll be a key part of our Procurement Delivery Team, executing sourcing processes and managing supplier performance to ensure we meet our project and production goals.
The Role
Reporting to a Procurement Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a specific category and its suppliers. Your work will directly impact performance in key areas like Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain valuable experience in a structured procurement environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Sourcing & Contracts: Work on current contracts, support new business bids, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Supplier Management: Manage and monitor supplier relationships and performance using KPIs, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Help optimize the supply chain by balancing inventory, managing supply orders, and meeting schedule demand.
