Role Overview:
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for an Environmental Sustainability Manager. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on customers, communities and colleagues, in line with our commitment to becoming a much greener organisation.
We're looking for someone with a passion for making a difference, who will drive change and deliver initiatives that reduce our ecological footprint and environmental impacts, whilst ensuring we meet net zero targets.
This is a roam role, so you'll work mainly from home and at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We'll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities:
In this influential role, you'll lead and develop group-wide strategies to establish, measure, and manage environmental impacts and performance.
Develop and deliver approaches to environmental management strategies and carbon reduction initiatives.
Identify and secure partnership opportunities with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and environmental specialists, to deliver sustainable homes which are fit for the future.
Lead on calculating and reporting carbon footprint measurements across emission sources.
Implement environmental reporting frameworks and develop comprehensive reporting structures to capture environmental impacts, aligned with ESG and other reporting requirements.
About You:
Driven by improving environmental impact and sustainability, you'll have extensive knowledge of environmental management systems and significant experience in contributing to policy and strategic development processes.
You'll be an ISEP Practitioner, working towards achieving full membership status.
Expertise in project management, with a track record of successfully managing organisational change.
Managing a specialist team of two, you'll be a supportive manager, passionate about driving change and service excellence.
Great data management and analysis skills, with ability to identify meaningful trends and variances.
An excellent communicator and collaborator, skilled in influencing and negotiating. You'll be confident in preparing and presenting environmental performance reports to leadership team, senior managers, and external stakeholders.
