Overview
A well-established precision engineering company is currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in manufacturing, particularly within CNC Milling or Turning, to secure a long-term position with a business known for delivering high-quality, bespoke components to specialist industries. Shifts available: Fixed or Rotating (Days and Afternoons). Salary: Up to £35,000 + 10% shift allowance for PM shift.
Responsibilities
* Set and operate CNC Milling or Turning machines to produce precision components.
* Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive best practice.
* Maintain high levels of housekeeping and follow TPM procedures.
* Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet daily targets.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling or Turning).
* Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
* Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Skilled in using measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
