Maintenance Engineer - electrical bias ideally

Are you a skilled and reliable engineer with a passion for keeping buildings running smoothly? We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will make a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on building systems and equipment.
* Supporting small installation works and responding to engineering emergencies on site.
* Ensuring all work is completed to high standards and in line with service level agreements.
* Liaising with sub-contractors, monitoring their performance, and ensuring work areas are left clean and safe.
* Keeping accurate records, updating equipment status reports, and signing off tasks via PDA.
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and delivering excellent customer service.
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and site procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
Skills & Qualifications:
* Ideally a recognised Electrical Qualification (e.g. C&G 18th Edition, Test & Inspection).
* Strong written and spoken English, with basic maths skills.
* Good understanding of building electrical systems and maintenance regimes.
Experience:
* Previous experience in PPM delivery and working with business-critical equipment.
* Familiarity with health & safety procedures and electrical systems management.
* Experience in a customer-focused role.

* A team player with strong communication skills.

* Willingness to participate in a call-out rota.
