Responsibilities
(include but not limited to):
1. Recording reinsurance contracts in the Ceded Reinsurance Accounting System (XL Pro). To include both treaty and facultative placements, on a proportional and non-proportional basis.
2. Timely and accurate preparation and delivery of ceded accounts with appropriate supporting documentation, including:
3. Co-ordinating the settlement of Deposit Premiums across multi-entity ceding treaties.
4. Calculation and administration of Adjustment Premiums and Profitmissions.
5. With support from our Global Ceded Claims Specialist, issuing Cash Calls, billing XOL claim recoveries and calculating Reinstatement Premiums.
6. Addressing Broker and Reinsurer queries on ceded accounts as they arise.
7. Providing assistance to internal stakeholders to address any coverage queries.
8. Assisting in the resolution of overdue balances.
9. LORS activities on behalf of the Syndicate.
Qualifications:
10. Proven experience in a Ceded Reinsurance Technician or Reinsurance Broker Technician role.
Knowledge, Skills &petencies :
11. Lloyds and London Market experience essential.
12. Strong written and verbalmunication skills.
13. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
14. XL Pro experience highly desirable.
15. LORS experience desirable.
