Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This role is essential in ensuring that our environments are welcoming and well-presented for all users. The job is over multiple sites. 2 in Nailsea, 4 in Clevedon.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces.
* Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised to meet health and safety standards.
* Manage waste disposal effectively and responsibly.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and stored correctly.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
* Drive to various locations as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled cleaning tasks.
Experience
* Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
* A valid driver's licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between locations.
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
* A proactive attitude towards work, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
