About the role
Shrewsbury Hospital | Radiology | Bank | Part Time
As a Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a postgraduate qualification and excellent teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
* Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service
* Experience a varied caseload in the department, on the ward and in theatre
* Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment and facilities
* Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
* Supervise and develop junior colleagues
* Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
Qualifications
Hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet HCPC registration requirements, a postgraduate qualification, and excellent teamwork skills. Bring a great eye for detail and a caring nature.

About the hospital
Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital is a purpose‑built, well‑equipped facility with 30 en‑suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. It offers up‑to‑date surgical treatments with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from a matron‑led nursing team. We specialise in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, women’s health, but also undertake general surgery, urology and interventions for chronic pain management.
