Location: Brighton (Head Office) with travel across Sussex & Hampshire Hours: Full-time | Permanent We are looking for an experienced Peripatetic Care Manager to support and drive performance across our care homes in Sussex and Hampshire. This is a senior, multi-site leadership role where the Peripatetic Care Manager will work closely with Home Managers and senior leadership to improve quality, strengthen compliance and support service development across the group. You will play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting services through challenge, and ensuring consistently high-quality care across multiple homes. Why join SDR? Take on a senior, multi-site leadership role within a growing care group Work closely with senior leadership and influence operational and quality outcomes Play a key role in supporting and developing Managers Drive meaningful improvements that directly enhance residents’ quality of life What you’ll do As a Peripatetic Care Manager, you will: Support and challenge Managers to maintain high standards of care and regulatory compliance Lead on audits, quality improvement activity and CQC inspection readiness Provide targeted operational support to services requiring additional leadership Identify areas for improvement and implement sustainable solutions across homes Share best practice and promote consistency across the group Provide Manager-level cover where required What we’re looking for Experience as a Home Manager or Registered Manager within elderly care Strong working knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and quality assurance frameworks Proven ability to improve service performance and maintain compliance Confidence working across multiple sites and influencing different teams Strong leadership, organisational and decision-making skills A flexible approach and willingness to travel regularly Full UK driving licence Previous multi-site experience is beneficial, but not essential for candidates with strong leadership experience at Manager level.
