Job Description
As Employment Counsel/ Partner:
1. Provide legal counsel on a variety of labor and employment matters.
2. Representing clients in arbitration, grievance proceedings, collective bargaining and mediation.
3. Must have experience with National Labor Relations Board proceedings and litigation.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements and documents.
5. Administration of collective bargaining agreements.
6. Advise on matters such as terminations, discrimination claims, workplace investigations and wage and hour compliance.
7. Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
8. Deliver training and workshops on employment law topics for clients and internal teams.
9. Collaborate with other departments to address employment-related risks and opportunities.
10. Support clients in developing strategies to manage and resolve employment disputes effectively.
