Hours: Full time 37.5 hrs per week
Salary from: £45,000 onwards (experience dependent)

Actemium Automation Huddersfield is seeking a talented Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team!
What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Controls Engineer at Actemium Automation Huddersfield, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of control systems for a wide range of automation projects.
From concept to commissioning, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge solutions that exceed our clients' expectations.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Actively participate in the entire project lifecycle, from start to finish
* Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
* Produce, design, and test documentation
* Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA software
* Perform testing with customers
* Carry out on-site commissioning and compile training manuals for customer training sessions
What you bring:
* Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMI/SCADA development
* Good understanding of industrial networks (Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) setup, commissioning, and fault finding (preferred but not essential)
* Strong understanding of control systems theory and industrial automation standards
* Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork ability
* Proven track record of delivering complex automation projects from conception to completion
