We are looking for two individuals to join us on a 12-month secondment basis, based in Darlington. The role supports hybrid and flexible working, with a mix of office and remote work.
This opportunity is ideal for those starting a career in HR or with HR Coordinator experience who can bring their expertise and hit the ground running.

The role
The HR Coordinator at Railpen ensures smooth HR operations across the colleague lifecycle. As the first point of contact, you will provide accurate information on HR policies, coordinate onboarding, and maintain confidential, accurate records. The role involves ensuring compliance, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with HR, payroll, and other departments.
You will support HR administrative functions related to onboarding, changes to terms and conditions, benefits, and leavers via the Workday system. You will also participate in projects to improve HR processes and systems, including testing. Collaborating across teams to support HR objectives and Railpen's wider goals is key, offering opportunities to develop HR expertise within a leading pension fund organization.
The person
You should be a proactive collaborator capable of building relationships within HR and across Railpen, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. The role requires clear communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience in processing end-to-end employee lifecycle activities is advantageous.
