Job Description We are excited to partner with a well-established client in the food sector to recruit a driven and ambitious Account Executive / Business Development Manager. This is a fantastic permanent, full-time opportunity for an individual with 2–3 years of experience in a sales role within the food industry or someone with a background in sales and account management looking to elevate their career. The successful candidate will align themselves with the wider team strategy, ensuring a collaborative and cohesive approach. While this is primarily an on-site role, hybrid working may be considered depending on experience. We are seeking an ambitious, proactive professional with: Strong analytical and communication skills. A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset. A passion for building relationships and uncovering new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Analyse sales data to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities. Leverage retailer data systems to track and improve performance. Develop and present strategies to drive business growth. Manage and nurture convenience accounts with guidance and support. Build long-term, robust relationships with buying teams in the convenience sector. Identify and develop new opportunities for the Whitby brand in this market. Act as an internal advocate for the convenience sector. Attend major retailer meetings as required. What’s in It for You Competitive Salary: Up to £40,000, based on experience. Working Details This is a full-time role based in Whitby, North Yorkshire, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm (including a 1-hour lunch break). The location is easily commutable from Scarborough, Pickering, Guisborough, and Teesside. While this is an on-site position, hybrid working may be considered depending on experience.
