This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Support Worker to join our established All Age Liaison Mental Health Team working with patients presenting to our Emergency Departments or who are inpatients on the general hospital wards, pending mental health assessments or admissions.
The post holder will be based in the Mental Health Liaison Team and work to support patients within the general hospital setting inclusive of the wards and A&E department who are referred for mental health assessment. The post holder will work as part of the multi‑disciplinary team and undertake allocated duties within the mental health liaison team, including specialist observations, initial contacts and reviews within A&E and on the medical wards.
You will work under the direction of the team but be able to work without direct supervision in implementing plans of care.
