£450-£500 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions is currently recruiting for a Keyworker for a SEMH Provision in North Manchester, starting asap. This is a full-time, longer-term role.
The School:
1. Secondary SEMH setting providing dedicated support for KS3-4 student with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
2. Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ with Outstanding features, the school is recognised for its strong leadership, curriculum development and positive behaviour and attitudes to learning.
3. Delivers a strong curriculum – GCSE and Functional Skills – as well as access to alternative provision
The Role:
4. Full-time student support for learners across KS3-4 assisting with both academic and emotional development
5. Small dedicated, well-staffed classes provide tailored lessons to the needs of each students
6. Working with outside agencies to provide specialist support for learners with SEMH & Complex Needs
The Candidate:
7. Holding a Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
8. Experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred; however, we also welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in care, support work, sports coaching, or psychology.
9. Candidates with Team Teach training are desirable, however training can be provided with New Directions
