This is a hands-on leadership position offering full ownership of finance, close collaboration with the Managing Director, and the chance to influence performance across a diverse portfolio. The Role: Leading day-to-day finance operations and month-end close Producing management accounts, board reports, and forecasts Managing budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning Overseeing payroll, VAT, and statutory reporting Partnering with the leadership team to deliver financial insight and commercial support Negotiating key contracts with suppliers and utilities Leading a small finance/admin team Liaising with auditors, banks, HMRC, and regulators Driving continuous improvement and process efficiencies Supporting strategic growth plans and investment appraisals About You: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Proven track record in an SME environment Strong technical accounting skills with commercial awareness Confident communicator with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders Adaptable, proactive, and hands-on - comfortable in a varied role Experience in regulated sectors Leadership experience, even of small teams Why Apply?
