About the Role:
You will be supporting pupils with a variety of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and severe learning difficulties. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment tailored to each pupil's individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support
Assist with personal care and mobility needs (where required)
Support communication and sensory development
Promote independence and emotional wellbeing
Collaborate with staff and families to support pupil progress
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred)
Calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to different needs
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
