Agency Social Worker – Adult Services (Cornwall Council) Location: Cornwall (hybrid – predominantly remote with required visits) Rate: £32.50 LTD (inclusive of holiday pay) OR £25.38 PAYE (exclusive of holiday pay) Contract Length: Initially 3 months (extension likely) Start Date: 1st April 2026 (earlier start may be considered) Hours: Full-time (job share considered) Positions Available: 2 (with additional vacancies across multiple orders) Role OverviewCornwall Council is seeking experienced Agency Social Workers to join their Adult Services team. This is a flexible, largely remote role, with a focus on delivering high-quality statutory assessments and support planning across designated geographical areas within Cornwall. Work will be allocated based on locality rather than traditional mid/east/west divisions, allowing for more efficient and manageable caseloads.
