Hello Education is partnering with specialist schools across Hartlepool, and we’re looking for inspiring and resilient SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team at the start of the new academic year.

Your Role as a SEND TA:
In this rewarding role, you’ll:
Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties
Work 1:1 or in small groups, helping students thrive both academically and emotionally
Create a calm, structured environment, using your empathy and patience to de-escalate and support
Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families to provide the best care possible
Promote independence and confidence, helping children feel empowered every step of the way We're Looking for:
Experience (or a real desire to gain experience) in SEND or within a specialist school environment
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Great communication and behaviour management skills
An Enhanced DBS (or the willingness to apply for one)
