Forensic Social Worker

Forensic Social Worker for Wheatfield low secure in-patient ward at Berrywood Hospital.
Wheatfield has 12 beds for working age male patients to be cared for in conditions of low security. We take referrals from other NHS and independent sector providers and prisons via the secure mental health care provider collaborative for the East midlands.
Main duties of the job

* Responsible for the preparation of social work reports for MDT meetings and tribunals
* Responsible for maintaining and vetting approved visitors list
* Local lead for safeguarding
* Liaison with external agencies (MAPPA, police, probation)
* Lead on family/carer interventions
