Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for experience in a cybersecurity or IT security role. We need strong knowledge of security tools, including SIEM such as Sentinel, EDR/XDR, firewalls, and IDS. We are looking for experience working in a SOC, NOC, or similar environment. We need a good understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. We need the ability to investigate threats and respond effectively to incidents. Security certifications such as Security, CEH, CISM, or CISA are a bonus. Scripting or automation experience, such as PowerShell, is a bonus. We require applicants to be eligible for security clearance. Responsibilities: We will have you monitor and analyse security events across SIEM, endpoints, and networks. We will have you investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and carry out remediation. We will have you identify vulnerabilities and drive proactive security improvements. We will have you act as the go-to escalation point for security issues. We will have you support compliance with security standards and best practice. We will have you work closely with IT and wider teams to embed security across systems. We will expect you to take ownership of threat detection, incident response, and continuous security improvement across the business.
