General Practitioner
Location: Hickings Lane Medical Centre, Nottingham
Salary: Up to £112,500 depending on experience
Hours: 2 sessions per week
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery, working closely with the clinical leads and local practice team.
* Maintain quality within the practice, ensuring participation in clinical governance activities and contributing to improving health outcomes through audits and the Quality and Outcomes Framework.
* Conduct consultations (in person and by video), telephone triage, manage correspondence and results, perform medication reviews, prescribe medication, and handle other clinical administration tasks.
* Support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan, including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.
* Adhere to GMC standards and put individual patient care first.
Ideal Candidate
* Current registration with the GMC and NHS performance list, and regular clinical work.
* GP accreditation – MRCGP examination or equivalent.
* Commitment to delivering quality, patient‑focused services.
* Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding.
* Working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.
