About the role
As anIntervention Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in helping pupils reach their full potential, both academically and behaviourally. Working closely with class teachers, the Head of Learning Support, and the wider school team, you will support individual pupils and small groups through targeted literacy and numeracy interventions, and pastoral care. You will assist in planning and delivering support strategies, monitor progress, and help maintain accurate records to track development and outcomes. Your role will also include contributing to displays, supervising break and lunch duties, and actively participating in school events and CPD. With your calm, compassionate presence, you will help to create a positive and supportive environment that promotes pupil wellbeing, confidence, and success across all areas of school life.
This is a part-time 0.6 FTE, permanent role with a September 2025 start date.

In terms of qualifications, you will have:
•A minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK
•Universityor an overseas qualification of an equivalent required standard.
•Level 3 qualification in one of the following: Early Years Practitioner, Early Years Educator or Diploma in childcare
