We are seeking an enthusiastic General Practitioner to joinour established team and be a part of a Practice that really cares and makes adifference within the community. Youwill be working within our purpose built surgery within Crowborough. Practice list size is 9600 patients. Ideally we are looking for a GP to cover 3-4clinical sessions per week. The practiceis located within a beautiful rural setting in the High Weald area of EastSussex but with easy access links to the South and nearby Tunbridge Wells.
We welcome applications from newly qualified GPs or GPsreturning to work.
Main duties of the job
At Saxonbury House we offer a culture of learning to allofour clinicians working at the practice.As a training practice we would welcome either an accredited GP traineror would be happy to support a clinician that would like to gain GP trainingstatus.
GP sessions are 12 appointments per session (a mix offace-to-face or telephone consultations), with home visit(s) after the morningsession if required.
We use Emis-web, Docman, and utilise a triage-based approachwith eConsults for appointment booking with GPs/Nurse Prescriber.

We have a mixed model of telephone or face to faceconsultations depending on the patients expressed preference or as clinicallyindicated.
Job responsibilities
A salaried General Practitioner working within the BMA model contract for SGPs.
Salaried GPs are encouraged to participate in learning and training and multidisciplinary audit. GPs will typically work with a mix of pre-booked and duty days with full professional support from the team at all times.
