Project Manager - Remediation / Earthworks - North West - £55,000 – £75,000 Package Location: North West (regional projects with office support from Warrington and Leeds) Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 Package & Benefits Job Title: Project Manager Employment: Full-Time, Permanent Position Project Manager – Earthworks & Remediation This Project Manager role sits within a leading Earthworks & Remediation division, delivering complex brownfield, contaminated land and civils projects across the North West. As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery from planning to completion, ensuring safe, compliant, commercially efficient outcomes. This position offers long-term stability with a strong pipeline of regional projects, ideal for an experienced Project Manager ready to lead multiple remediation and earthworks schemes. Immediate start available for the right Project Manager. Key Responsibilities * Manage full lifecycle delivery of earthworks & remediation projects * Lead site teams including Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors * Oversee excavation, soil treatment, stabilisation, remediation systems and environmental controls * Produce and review RAMS, programmes, reports and technical documentation * Ensure compliance with CDM, H&S, environmental and regulatory standards * Manage client relationships, progress meetings and project communication * Control project budgets, forecasting and cost reporting * Monitor productivity and performance against programme * Lead procurement of materials, subcontractors and plant * Ensure documentation for contaminated land and waste classification is accurate * Support environmental monitoring, testing and regulatory submissions * Oversee permits, temporary works and QA procedures * Problem-solve technical, operational and logistical challenges * Deliver projects within time, cost and quality parameters * Ensure high standards of site safety, quality and delivery Requirements * Strong experience as a Project Manager in earthworks, remediation, brownfield or heavy civils * Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously * Excellent understanding of environmental compliance, soil treatment, groundwater systems and remediation techniques * Strong commercial awareness and cost-management skills * Effective leadership, communication and client-facing experience * Full UK driving licence * Immediate availability is highly advantageous Benefits * £60,000 – £75,000 salary (DOE) * Full package benefits * Permanent role with a long-term portfolio of North West remediation projects * Opportunity to lead specialist, technical sites within a growing division If this sounds like the role for you, Apply Now.
