GSL Education are seeking a creative and dedicated Design Technology Teacher to inspire students across Sheffield (S5, S9). This is an exciting opportunity for a Design Technology (DT) Teacher who is passionate about innovation, practical learning, and developing students’ design and problem-solving skills. What to Expect in This DT Teacher Role: Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across a range of year groups. Plan and prepare practical and theory-based lessons that motivate students. Support students in developing skills in design, manufacturing, and evaluation. Maintain a safe, organised, and productive workshop or classroom environment. Assess student progress and work closely with colleagues to support achievement. Requirements for This Design Technology Teacher Role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching Design Technology is desirable. Strong classroom and workshop management skills. Ability to inspire students and encourage creativity and independent thinking. A positive, proactive, and professional approach to teaching. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
