Randstad Education is actively recruiting for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive specialist School in Kidderminster.

This exceptional School provides a nurturing and dedicated space for children with a diverse range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, SEMH, and ADHD. Teamwork is at the heart of their philosophy, with staff collaborating closely to foster both academic progress and essential emotional development.


Your Role Will Involve:

* Providing tailored support to individual students or small groups during daily learning activities.

* Assisting in adapting lessons and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and needs.

* Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting crucial self-regulation skills.

* Supporting the development of vital life skills, independence, and social confidence.

* Helping with engaging extracurricular activities and hands-on learning experiences.

* Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all.


What We're Looking For:

* Experience working in UK Schools, ideally 6 to 12 months in an SEN support role.

* Solid knowledge of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other related conditions.

* A nurturing, flexible attitude combined with patience and resilience.

* Excellent communication and strong teamworking abilities.

* A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one).
