As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager in the organising, planning and day-to-day operations of the pub. You will be expected to deputise for the General Manager when they are on their days off or on leave, and during these times you will have responsibility for all back of house and front of house operations and are the line of communication between frontline team members and senior management. You will be expected to follow the General Managers best practices, lead by example by driving customer service excellence, and create a positive experience for all our customers.
About the role:
1. When deputising, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pub, working closely with the Head Chef to create an excellent customer dining experience which is in keeping with our customer demographic.
2. Alongside the General Manager you will lead from the front and work side by side with team members to achieve the goals of the Company which are critical to the success of this role
3. Assist in recruiting, developing, retaining and recommending promotion of high calibre individuals supervising the performance of each team member
