Our Support Workers work in a variety of settings including community-based services (often supporting people in their own homes), Independent Hospitals, or Adult Care Homes.
One common focus across all our services is personalized support, tailoring services to meet the needs and aspirations of people with diverse care needs (including Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health Concerns, Complex Care, Substance Misuse issues, among others).
Key qualities we look for:
* Good communication skills (verbally and in writing)
* Patience, confidence, and enthusiasm for caring for others
* Ability to use your own initiative
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility to work varied shift patterns to provide 24-hour support
* Share our AFG values
We do not require previous training or a career in care, as full training will be provided. You just need a willingness to learn and develop.
