This varied position will see you working closely with Directors, preparing detailed proposals outlining labour, materials, equipment, and other costs on electrical projects. This role will primarily be office based; however, some site visits will be required within the East Yorkshire patch. You will also be required to collaborate with clients, internal teams and suppliers to gather project and pricing information.
This role would suit an Electrical Estimator looking to join a well‑established tight‑knit team where the Directors are very present and really value their employees, reduce staff turnover and provide clear progression to Director.
Responsibilities
* Analyse CAD project plans and drawings to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
* Prepare detailed proposals outlining labour, materials, equipment and other costs.
* Estimate projects ranging from £100 to £5 million.
* Prepare reports and work/report with Directors.
* Work Monday‑Friday (8 am‑5 pm) with flexible hours.
* Christmas bonus roughly £3 000.
Qualifications
* Electrical Contractor experience.
* Happy to commute to the office in Kingston upon Hull.
* Happy for occasional site visits, mostly in East Yorkshire.
