About the job you’re considering

As a Summer Intern – TMTS Consulting intern, you will join Capgemini’s Telecom, Media, Technology & Services (TMTS) Market Unit, working alongside experienced consultants, technologists, and industry specialists. This placement is designed for undergraduates in their penultimate year who are curious about consulting and client engagement, while also wanting exposure to the technology, engineering, and commercial dimensions of large‑scale digital transformation programmes. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting real client engagements, learning how Capgemini helps major UK and global organisations solve complex business and technology challenges across telecoms, media, and technology sectors.

Hybrid working: 2–3 days per week in our London office.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre‑employment checks including identity, nationality (single or dual) and immigration status, employment history going back 5 continuous years, and a basic criminal history check (DBS in England/Wales, Disclosure Scotland, or Access NI in Northern Ireland). If you have been resident overseas for significant periods of time (6 months or more) in the last 5 years on a temporary or permanent basis, there will also be a requirement for an international police/court record check.


Your role

During your internship, you will gain exposure across a range of consulting and delivery activities, which may include:

* Supporting consulting teams in client engagements, including research, analysis, and preparation of client‑ready materials
* Working alongside technology and engineering teams to understand how solutions are designed, built, and delivered using modern platforms and architectures
* Gaining insight into AI, cloud, data, networks, and digital engineering as part of real transformation programmes
* Assisting with commercial and account management activities, helping teams manage client relationships and opportunities
* Collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams across Capgemini to solve complex business problems
* Developing your stakeholder management, communication, and professional consulting skills

Your security clearance and pre‑employment checks

Security Check (SC) Clearance is required for appointment to this role.

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.

Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
