We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Gower, our prison education provider at HMP Parc, working as a Catering Tutor within the Youth unit. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.

Site Information
HMP Parc Prison is a Category B men's prison located in Bridgend, Wales. The prison accommodates individuals who have been convicted of various offenses requiring secure custody and rehabilitation. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
* Hold a teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
* Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
* Have experience of creating stimulating, vibrant environments conducive to learning and motivational for learners
* Track record showing achievement of quality targets
* Experience producing accurate and timely reports
* Track record of effective teaching and delivery of subject (Desirable)
* Track record of working effectively with people presenting with challenging behaviour (Desirable)
* Have effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrate an ability to motivate and enthuse learners
