Relief Project Worker - Ballymisert
Location: Ballymisert, Belfast (East Belfast - Holywood Road)
Salary: £13.47 per hour

Inspire is seeking a Relief Project Worker to join our team providing 24-hour, person-centred support to residents in Ballymisert. Our services focus on recovery-based support in communities to help individuals live with dignity and realise their full potential.

Ballymisert is a modern service in Belfast, comprising 17 single flats and one shared house. The service is recovery-focused and supports residents toward independent living at their own pace.
Key Activities and Experiences
* Life skills development – cooking, budgeting, tenancy support
* Social & recreational activities – walking groups, games nights, movie nights, themed food nights
* Community outings – Titanic Belfast, Belmont Road trips
* Emotional and mental health support – working with statutory mental health professionals and care managers
Role and Responsibilities
* Support service users with daily living skills, medication management, and tenancy support
* Encourage participation in activities and social outings to promote well-being
* Provide emotional and practical support to individuals as they work toward greater independence
* Assist with appointments, shopping, and budgeting
* Work as part of a team of about 15, including a manager, senior support workers, sleepover staff, and project workers
* Take the lead during shifts in the absence of management
Shift Patterns & Availability
* Full-time (37 hours): One long day (7:45am – 10:15pm) plus three shorter shifts (early 7:45am – 3:15pm; late 2:45pm – 10:15pm; occasional mid-shift 11:00am – 6:30pm every other weekend)
* Part-time (30 hours): Four shifts per week (mix of early/late shifts and mid, every other weekend)
* Part-time (22.5 hours): Three shifts per week (mix of early/late shifts and mid, every other weekend)
